MVFM anounces the New Acting Gereral Director

Manulife Vietmam Fund Management Company (MVFM)  would like to announce for the change of the New Acting General Director as follows:

(1) Dismissing MVFM’s Acting Genral Director Pak Wai Chung Gilbert (Gilbert Pak) from his duties as of October 1st, 2008;

(2) Assigning Mr. Chow Wing Kee, with following information:

Nationality                   : Singapore
Passport number         : E0269915H

as MVFM’s Acting General Director as of October 1st, 2008.

MVFM seeks MAFPF1 Investors' approval in writing

For and on behalf of Manulife Progressive Fund (MAFPF1), Manulife Vietnam Fund Management Company (MVFM) kindly request the approval in writing by the General Investors Meeting for (1) the postponement of the Annual General Investors Meeting of MAFPF1 for the fiscal year of 2007; and (2) the amendment/supplement of some articles of the Fund Charter.
Record date for MAFPF1 investors'opinion poll
On 11 October 2007, MVFM received the decision from the State Securities Commission (SSC) approved for its Chartered Capital increase from VND 5 billion to VND 26 billion.
On December 10, 2007 MAFPF1 was approved in principle for the listing registration on HOSE
The Ho Chi Minh city Stock Exchange (HOSE) in the Official Letter No. 2566/SGDHCM-NY dated 10 Dec, 2007 approved in principle for the listing registration of 21,409,530 MAFPF1. MVFM is collecting investors'opinion on the amendment of the Fund Charter of MAFPF1
MVFM is actively proceeding with the listing of MAFPF1 on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE). However, during the process, we found that a small revision should be made in the Fund Charter, which has been approved by the Investors since 6 October 2007. Read more...
