Re: opening trading & depository account for MAFPF1

The General Director of Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) has approved in principle for the listing registration of MAFPF1 on HOSE in the Offical Letter No. 2566/SGDHCM-NY dated December 10, 2007; and

To get well prepared for the trading MAFPF1 on the Stock Exchange when they were listed;

Manulife Vietnam Fund Management Company (MVFM) would like to advise you investors, who has trading need of MAFPF1, that

1. Case 1

If you have never had a transaction account open at any Securities Company, please contact to open such an account and deposit MAFPF1 at a securities company, which you believe servicing you best.

2. Case 2

If you did have the transaction account open at a securities company, could you please contact that company to have your MAFPF1 deposited in your account.

Remark:

When approaching to your securities company, please do not forget to bring along with you your ID card or Passport and the Confirmation on the Right of Issue of Fund Units issued by Manulife Vietnam Fund Management Company.

We will keep you informed of the Official Approval from HOSE for the listing and trading of MAFPF1 on the Exchange, at our website www.manulifefunds.com.vn and through the announcement in a national newspaper.
