MAFPF1: Record Date of the MAFPF1, for the Annual General Investor Meeting of the FY 2009

Manulife Vietnam Fund Management Company Limited (MVFM) would like to inform investors of the Record Date to be eligible for the General Investor Meeting – FY2009 of the Manulife Progressive Fund (MAFPF1), as follow:

• Ex–dividend Date:  February 11, 2010 (if selling by put-through method from and over 100.000 fund units on Feb 11, 2010 and Feb 12, 2010, the seller is not entitled to exercise the investor's rights.  
• Record Date:         February 22, 2010
• Event Date :          March 26, 2010 From 14:00 To 17:30
• Meeting Venue:     Meeting hall, 4 floor – Manulife Plaza
• Address:               75 Hoang Van Thai, Tan Phu Ward, Dist 7, HCMC
• Provisional Agenda: 
-     Report on the fund’s operations (“MAFPF1”);
-     Report of The Supervisory Bank (HSBC);
-     The fund’s operations planning for the year 2010
-     Voting for New Board of Representatives Members;
-     Other issues.
• The Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD – HCMC Branch) will temporarily stop receiving depository filings of MAFPF1 on 12, 22 & 23 February, 2010.
